Who are you?

Who are you? Are you a disciple of The Lord Jesus Christ? Are you born of The Holy Spirit? If the answer is yes to both of those questions, then you are a part of The Body of Christ. You are no longer a normal human being as the world sees normal, but you are a new creation. Do you understand that you are an alien in this world? You have been given a new position, one of great importance, that you may be a world changer. Do you believe that you are a world changer? You may say, in what way am I a world changer? Or you may say of the world around you, there is nothing much that I can do about that because nobody takes much notice of me. Well that is where you would be wrong! If you are a disciple of Jesus Christ, then He is taking much notice of you and what you say and do, and you are very important to Him. You have become His representative on the earth. Imagine being the representative of the most famous and prestigious company in the world. How would you dress? How would you act? How would you speak? What authority would you have? Well, being a representative of Christ is far greater than anything that you can imagine!

JOHN 15 : 1 - 8 NKJV

15 “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. 2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 3 You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. 4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.

5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. 6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. 7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. 8 By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.

In verse 7 we can see that if we are true disciples of Jesus Christ, obedient to His word, then whatever we ask of Him, He will have it done for us.

2 CHRONICLES 7 : 14 NKJV

14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

From 2 Chronicles 7 : 14 we can see that the depravity of our land can be changed through the prayer of righteous disciples. God promises to heal their land.....if? Is the land that you live in depraved, dark and broken? Well then what are you going to do about that? This is not a time to say, who me? You see if you really are a true disciple of Jesus Christ, then you can do something about changing the state that your nation is in.

MARK 11 : 22 - 26 NKJV

22 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. 23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

Forgiveness and Prayer

25 “And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. 26 But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.”

JOHN 9 : 5 NKJV

5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

MATTHEW 5 : 14 NKJV

14 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.

Jesus said that for as long as He was in the world that He was the light of the world, but it was always His plan that His disciples would take over from Him and become the light of the world. Do you believe that you are the light of the world? Are you making great advancements in changing the world that we live in?

JOHN 14 : 12 NKJV

12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.

Wow!!! If you believe in Jesus Christ then you will do greater works than He did Himself. Are you doing these greater works? Have you done greater works than Jesus Christ? Did you believe that you would be doing greater works than Jesus Himself? You see being a disciple of Jesus Christ is the most powerful position on the earth....if. That if depends on you, who will need to depend on Jesus Christ. Have you asked Jesus to teach you about who you have become, as His disciple? Have you asked Him to empower you? Have you asked Him why you are not doing greater works than He did? Have you asked Him why you do not believe that you are a world changer, when clearly scripture says that you should be? When you purchase something new, do you read the instruction manual? Do you have a full understanding of who you are? If not then I strongly recommend that you inquire of Jesus! For if you do not know who you are then you are living in a state of confusion. How would it be for you if you were the representative of the most famous company on the earth and you did not know how to dress, how to speak, how to act or what authority that you had been given? Would you survive in that position? How are you doing as a representative of The Most High God, on this earth? Have you read the instructions? Have you sought Him to find out? Do you realize that you are misrepresenting Jesus Christ if you are not seeking to understand these things and walk in His ways?
