A different way to live.

ROMANS 12 : 1 - 2 NKJV

12 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Paul is exhorting the church to surrender their lives to doing God's will, no longer being conformed to the ways of this world, but being transformed into a new person who is only Godly.
Firstly how do we know how worldly we are? What is it to conform to the ways of this world? If we need transforming then how did we become worldly in the first place? How can a person be transformed by the renewing of their mind? Are we to be brainwashed?
Let us first look at how a person learns and where they learn from. As a baby we are dependents, we need parents to do basically everything for us and as we grow we become inquisitive wanting to…

Is fear sinful?

What is faith? Where does it come from? Why is it so important?
Everyday in most people's homes they are required to have faith in others. We trust the manufacturers of our electrical appliances, for example, that they are safe to use. Or put differently we have faith in their abilities, workmanship and testing of that equipment that we use in our homes. So we can see that in faith their is a big trust component.

GENESIS 22 : 1 - 13

22 Now it came to pass after these things that God tested Abraham, and said to him, “Abraham!” And he said, “Here I am.” 2 Then He said, “Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.” 3 So Abraham rose early in the morning and saddled his donkey, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son; and he split the wood for the burnt offering, and arose and went to the place of which God had told him. 4 Then on the third da…
