The "One minister Church" Versus The "Body of Christ"

Here in Australia unfortunately it appears as though we predominately have the "One minister Church" which is very sad. Let me explain what I mean by the "One minister Church". A Church where the pastor is the leader of the Church in the place of The Holy Spirit. The pastor preaches a Sunday sermon to his audience and gives his instruction for the direction of the church. (I am not trying to say that there is anything wrong with the pastor preaching or giving instruction.) Now let us judge the tree by it's fruit. What is the fruit of the church in general? Are the congregations being equipped with the power gifts of God to become world changers? Is there any power in the church? Is the church a place of love and genuine sincere fellowship? How much is church a Sunday event and not a lifestyle? How many of the church have a real relationship with Jesus Christ? How many of the congregation believe that every believer is supposed to be a minister of Christ walking as Jesus did and doing greater works even than He Himself did?

Ephesians 4 : 7-16

But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift. Therefore He says:
“When He ascended on high,
He led captivity captive,
And gave gifts to men.”
(Now this, “He ascended”—what does it mean but that He also first descended into the lower parts of the earth? 10 He who descended is also the One who ascended far above all the heavens, that He might fill all things.)
11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— 16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.
So we can see in verse 13 that it is God's intention that the fruit of His Church is that all believers should reach "the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ". Therefore if the believers in a church do not understand this or are not heading in this direction, the something is drastically wrong with the direction of their church.
2 Timothy 3 : 1-5 NKJV
But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!
The Apostle Paul prophesied to Timothy of this powerless church and in versus 2,3 and 4 he described why. Basically it is a church full of sinners who call themselves christians, but do not know God.
Well why are the churches like this?
If you read my first post then you would see that "Sanctification" leads to salvation and that those who are sanctified are useful for the master and prepared for every good work.
Romans 12 : 1-8 NJKV
12 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Serve God with Spiritual Gifts

For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith. For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith; or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching; he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.

How much do we see this ministry in our Churches? Where are all of the Apostles? Where are all of the Prophets?

Ephesians 2 : 19-22 NJKV
19 Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, 20 having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, 21 in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, 22 in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

What happens to a building if you remove the foundations from under it? Of course it will collapse! Well it has! True Apostles and True Prophets will tell the truth and that ministry will lead to "Sanctification" and ultimately repentance and salvation. It will lead to the end of the ungodly calling themselves christians because their sin will be exposed. Oh and I am not saying that this ministry is only reliant on the Apostles and Prophets, but on The Holy Spirit.
By the way if you think that the people outside of the church cannot see the ungodliness of the church then you are mistaken. It is probably one of the main reasons why the church is in decline, because those people can see the hypocrisy of the church in general. (The church are the sinners that are saying to those outside that they are saved, yet still sin, and are telling those outside that unless they become like them that they will go to Hell for eternity.)

I urge all believers reading this to ask God for change, that we me be the true "Body of Christ".
